To address the state’s health and health workforce needs by providing educational programs and health care services in partnership with KUMC academic departments, health care agencies and other organizations committed to improving the health of the people of Kansas.
An additional component of our mission is to provide advocacy skills that will enhance the capacity of KUMC and our partners to maximally utilize resources to address health issues. We partner with community-based organizations, hospitals, clinics, local, state and federal organizations and education institutions to accomplish these objectives. - Meet the Staff
AHEC East provides continuing education programming for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in the eastern one-third of the state.
